This used to be a newsletter about intuitive eating but it’s time to reinvent. I’m here to write not just about intuitive eating but intuitive living. Because when we listen to our soul’s yearnings, we can never be wrong.

Join me as I practice connecting with myself and with the magic that’s all around me (and all of us).

Like everything else in life, this is an experiment. I’m testing out what it feels like to write just for fun again and to see what happens when I focus on the endeavors that really nourish me and the little synchronicities or what I like to think of as “cosmic winks” that let me know my directionally challenged ass is going the right way.

A little about me

I’m an occupational therapist-turned-award-winning health and fitness journalist, standup comedian, PR consultant, and certified intuitive eating counselor. Also a two-time Ironman finisher, and six-time marathoner, I contribute regularly to Bicycling Magazine and have written for many other outlets including The Washington Post, SELF, and Runner’s World.

As the co-founder of the Word to Your Mother Community, I also co-produce local events including Boulder’s Listen to Your Mother Show and co-lead in-person and virtual workshops and courses designed to honor and cultivate creativity in midlife women.

Are you with me?

Real Nourished is a community of women who are ready to FULLY LIVE, in comfy pants, yoga pants, hot pants, or whatever makes them feel good. We are brave enough to fail. We’re ready to look for the magic, whether that’s in the pages of a good book, tapping the keys of our laptops, exploring trails on two wheels, or just sitting quietly with our hearts and letting go of our to-do lists even if just for a couple minutes.
