For so many years I was obsessed with…
what I should and shouldn't eat
how much I had to exercise to compensate for things like desserts, wine, or overdoing it on nachos
how my jeans fit
a number on a scale
When I decided I was ready to ditch all the counting, restricting, and rules, I realized I was alone.
Almost none of my friends at the time wanted what I wanted- the mental clarity and energy that came with letting go of my unhealthy (but totally culturally normalized) obsession. They still wanted to get or stay lean, even if it was creating extra stress and anxiety.
I mucked my way through it but I *wish* I'd had more like-minded women in my life at the time.
So I created the program I would have wanted when I was brand-new to intuitive eating.
It's called SAVOR and it's for active women who are ready to stop micromanaging their food and exercise and who want to learn how to do it with support from a community (plus myself, a former disordered eater, occupational therapist, certified intuitive eating counselor, and certified personal trainer).
We meet twice a month over Zoom from 12-1 ET and we kick off on Thursday, October 11th.
If you’re ready to clear out the mental clutter that comes with obsessing about food, exercise, and your weight, this is for you.
